When there is no pool to play in, you simply improvise.
The dog bowl was full when Carter started playing in it. He was pretty wet after he splashed it empty and couldn't have cared less.

Playing in the water is FUN, Mom! Get that boy down here so he can play in "God's Pool!"
Carter and Hayston would have a great time splashing in the water together!

I am happy to see you had a great 4th...the picture you commented on about the shadow IS perfect! It looks like one of those "candid" shots my photographes stages for artistry. You may want to try Gimp to see if you can erase the shadow...it's a free software you can download off the internet.
The splashing in the dog bowl was too cute...kids do seem to be attracted to the water...any water!
