An Early Visit From...

The Birthday Fairy {aka: The UPS man}, who brought this from Bamma and Big Pat:

About which Carter feels like this:

And, Carter has discovered uses beyond the intended:

He absolutely loves this chair! He cracked me up this afternoon by pushing his music table over to it {as if his music table were a push-toy! Looks like we know the next purchase I need to make!}, climbing into the chair, and then laying over the arm of the chair to play with the music table. It was priceless; but, of course, I wasn't fast enough with the camera!

Carter has also started sleeping on a cot at school! His teacher told me that he really loves it. When they put him in a crib now, he fusses and won't go to sleep. When they put him on a cot, he drifts right off {sometimes he requires a little patting}. Nick and I can't figure out how that happens because we can't imagine him slowing down long enough to fall asleep on a cot!

PS: Thanks for all of the comments/suggestions on the previous post. Now we have some places to start. Hopefully, we will get something up soon!

What a great birthday present! Carter needs to let his Aunt B and Uncle Ken know what he wants for his birthday (or at least give Aunt B a shove in the right direction)!

Love you!
Aunt B

Julianna has the same chair, same color and everything. Of course it has her name on it too... like everything she owns! haha
It is awesome and she feels like such a big girl sitting in her own chair.

Chase also has that exact PBK chair and Ella has the light pink one. They LOVE to fall onto the chairs while jumping off the sofas. They also love to rock backwards on it so it flips over. And they take running dives into the chairs to flip them over. It truly is more of an apparatus than a chair!

Oh just wait! We have one for both girls in our playroom and they now use it as a "launching" mechanism to flip over - on purpose, of course! Any time I hear "happy screams" I know exactly what they are up to!
