It didn't take long before he was exploring the slide that Santa brought him. And he continued to slide down it all day long.
Carter also enjoyed opening and exploring all of his presents. He is definitely a slow gift-opener. He would open something, then want to fully explore it, open it, read it, etc. Then, maybe, he'd be interested in opening something else.
Carter was really into all of the books that he got and wanted to read them all day when he wasn't sliding or playing with toys.
Just a few more pictures of Carter enjoying our Christmas brunch and playing with Dad, his toys, and reading. And, yes, if you are thinking that these pictures are fabulous...it is because my wonderful husband gave me a new {very fancy} camera
We had a wonderful Christmas, and it was such a treat to be in our home on Christmas for the first time in four years {although we very much missed spending time with our families in Alabama}. We were able to start some of our own Christmas traditions, and we look forward to building on them over the years to come.
I hope you had a very Merry Christmas with your family, as well!

Merry Christmas! I see ya'll had a great day!
I love Carter's expression...he looks half asleep and half confused! We got the Arch here...isn't LP the greatest?!
The pictures are great! What a wonderful gift!
Y'all were sorely missed by the "Bama Bunch" this year, but I'm glad that y'all were able to be home for the holidays! It looks like Santa left everything he had for Carter! Thanks for sharing the pictures--and if you need some help/guidance with your new camera, I'll be happy to offer my wisdom!
Love y'all!
