This afternoon, Carter was playing in his room while I was putting some things away in our room. He rolled a ball under his crib, and came to ask me for help getting it out. I said that I would be in there as soon as I finished what I was doing. Back into his room he went. Apparently, he figured for himself how to get the ball. When I went in there, the ball was back in its rightful resting place and this is what I saw:

Such a smart boy! I love that he's figuring things out for himself and, obviously, having fun at the same time. You can tell from the pictures that he's so proud of himself.
