Alabama Basketball

For a while, Nick has been suggesting that Carter would enjoy going to Tuscaloosa for a Tide basketball game. Last week, we got serious about planning a trip. There was a 3:00pm game yesterday against Ole Miss, so we decided we'd take the whole crew and make a family trip to watch some UA basketball.
I wasn't too sure how everyone would do. I thought there would be enough going on to keep Carter's attention, but I was a little leery about how Callen would do.

True to form, Carter enjoyed watching the game and cheering.
Callen, however, was my surprise. She loved it {although she didn't want to sit still to watch it}! She would cheer when everyone else cheered and sometimes when they didn't, she clapped, she laughed and had a great time.

Of course, nothing was more entertaining than digging into some snacks.

Animal crackers that were brought along in case of emergency {although this was not one}...
Enjoying skittles for the first time...
We left with about 10 minutes left in the game and met Big Al in the concourse. Of course, neither of our children wanted anything to do with him, so I have no Big Al pictures. After the game we met Clint and Meredith for dinner {thanks, Clint, for the tix!} and enjoyed a fun night.

Roll Tide!

Looks like y'all had a great time. (And, apparently, Carter and Callen take after their Aunt B in their love of "junk!")

Love y'all!
