Nick got Carter's little slippers at Tar.get because his feet get so cold on our hardwoods and tile. Nick also put the hood up on his shirt this morning...and Carter thought he was soooo funny!
And for Caroline....
In Summer
And in another season...
And one last question for all you seasoned moms...what to do when your child wakes up in the morning and is soaked because his diaper leaked? Does this mean it is time to move up to the next size {he is in size 3 cruisers, and is only about 23-24 lbs, so he would be in the low end of size 4s}? Or is there a diaper out there that is specifically intended for all night? Should I cut back on liquids at a certain time? I would appreciate any and all thoughts...this is starting to happen on a regular basis, and I feel so awful for the little man!
Happy Saturday to everyone!

That is funny...the Murphree family had the same pancakes for breakfast! I didn't have any sausage but we wished we had!
Don't think the size of the diaper will help...Mary Reese use to flood hers...probably since she drank about a gallon of milk everyday!
Your house is so cute, Sue. Get some Huggies Night-Time. We use them every night!

So I swear ya'll should move to d-rock, our children are so on the same page. We've had the leaky diaper issue too. Eh is in size 4's but I put her in 5's at night and we have not had anymore leaks. She sleeps on her tummy so I guess once its full it just comes out of the top. So far this has worked for us. She is not ready for 5's all the time yet, they make her walk funny, too much extra diaper.
Sue - Connor has been in Size 4 Huggies Nighttime diapers for a while now and they have helped the completely wet child in the AM trememdously. Connor used to wake up SOAKED and now he wakes up dry every day. I belive 4 is the smallest size you can get for the Huggies Nighttime. It is a purple package and you can't get them everywhere...but Target has them. Hope that helps!
It happens to them all! We always just went up a size for night time. Usually the original size is fine for daytime, but they need the bigger one for nighttime. I never used them but some friends told me there are these inserts you can put in the diaper, like a pad, just for nighttime.
I love the pictures of Carter! I can't believe how much he has grown!! We have used the huggies overnight diapers, they seem to work pretty well. We started limiting fluids an hour or so before bedtime and that has helped too...
