On the move

...well, with help, at least. I finally bought Carter a push toy this weekend, and he has rarely stopped pushing it around our house since Nick put it together. He is actually really adept at walking with it, turning it and navigating around obstacles. We're completely convinced that he could walk by himself if he wanted to, but so far he hasn't showed any interest. As he has done with most everything, including his arrival, we figure he'll just get around to it when he feels like it.

That is so cute! I think he is telling himself "Good Job!" at the end.

Sue it was great to hear from you! Carter is soooo cute! My sister lives in Evansville, Indiana, so I can agree with all you said in your "Southern" blog - she has the hardest time finding smocked clothes up there - which is so foreign to me!!?? Keep i touch! Kellie

Adorable. We have almost the same exact push toy...an early birthday present from a friend of mine, and it took her a while, but she likes it now! She is not very good at maneuvering yet, but we are working on that! Right now she just plops down on her behind when she runs into something!

we have the same walk n ride! emily loves it and it seems to have worked very well for her. see video from earlier this week of her "shopping" with it. since she is now mobile without it, she puts stuff in the hood.
