It is because this little one is about 95% potty trained (not including nighttime). We are proud...and I am thankful. Turns out M&Ms and Dis.ney Wor.ld are strong motivation!

New Kicks

My children have apparently gotten some of my brother's genes. My brother, Steve, loves to buy new shoes {and jackets, among other things...}. He tends to also like to show them off when he brings them home.

A few weeks ago, we took a trip to Sik.es to pick out some new shoes for everyone as our old ones were either too small or too worn out. Carter and Callen both left with new running shoes.

The next morning, nothing would do but to put them on and show them off.

I promise you that it was not yet 7:30am when these pictures were taken!

Valentine's Day

We had a big Valentine's Day around the Willis household. Fresh off of being out of town for a week, I was very excited to be able to join both Callen and Carter for their school parties.

They both had a great time at their respective parties, eating lots of sweets and swapping valentines with their friends. Both made it home with boxes of letters, candy and other treats to sort through!

When they got in the house, they were excited to find a heart of chocolate for each of them from Mommy and Daddy. However, as you can tell, the hit of Valentine's Day were the Bu.zz and Princess umbrellas.

I promise you they carried those things around until I found them in the bed with them on Friday morning. At that point, I realized that they needed a little education about appropriate use of umbrellas.

They told me they were outta here if I didn't let them use their umbrellas soon! ;)

Luckily, Saturday we had a birthday party to go to and it was RAINING! They were thrilled to be able to put their new umbrellas to good use and celebrate MT's birthday!
